Introducing Our Beautiful Baby Girl!

Welcoming Ashley Marie Yeadon!
Born on Friday, August 22nd, 2008 at 11:16 am
weighing 6lbs 12 oz
18 3/4 inches long
Ashley was not due until Sept 1st, but due to some concerns surrounding high blood pressure and some seriously swollen ankles, Erin was induced on Thursday, August 21st. After getting to the hospital around 6:00 that evening, the labor process started. The next morning after labor had become much more progressive the nurses discovered that Ashley apparently had plans of her own. At some point during the night she decided to flip herself into the breech position! After they confirmed her position with an ultra sound, we were prepped for surgery within minutes! Erin had a c-section and Ashley was introduced to the world! Unfortunately, Erin had to go to recovery right after the birth, but Matt was able to stay with Ashley the whole time in the nursery. Luckily, Erin's brother Brian video taped the entire nursery process so that Erin could later watch it for herself. Everything seemed to happen very quickly and unexpected, but mom recovered well, Ashley was just perfect, and dad couldn't have been more proud! Praise God!

Ashley was born with a full head of beautiful hair! Almost every nurse commented on both the amount and the great color! It looked like she was born with frosted tips!

We were so incredibly blessed to be surrounded by family and friends who couldn't wait to meet her!

Bringing Ashley home has been the biggest blessing we could ever imagine! Who knew that someone so small could bring you so much joy?! She is truly an incredible miracle of God!
